T-Shirt Fringe Scarf

How many old and disgusting t-shirts do you have lying around? If you're like me then you probably have quite a few that are pretty much just a waste of space. Well it's time to upcycle those gross old things and turn them into an awesome fringe scarf! Follow the steps below on how to make this incredibly easy project! (It literally took me less than 10 min!)

Materials you will need: Old t-shirt and scissors

Step 1: Lay the t-shirt flat and cut it horizontally underneath the sleeves and discard the top half, you will no longer need it.

Step 2: Starting from the bottom of the half you have left, cut vertical strips all the way across approximately 3 to 4 inches in length, depending on your preference.

This is what your material should look like after you have cut all the fringe strips across the bottom.

Step 3: Gently pull each strip towards you in order to create a more relaxed, carefree look. Make sure not to pull too hard in order to avoid tearing.

Once you are done pulling all strings, gather the material and put your head through the bottom of the t-shirt like you normally would and it will end up looking like the images above. For a more eccentric look, tie-dye your white t-shirt before cutting.
